Romulus Phalanx Control
So this is a computer guarded by robots that wake in sync with the damage you do to the computer. The computer is below Requiem and Romulus. And between the two super sized mech robots being built.
This is NOT an easy task, although keep fighting ONLY the computer and you will eventually destroy it. When the computer is destroyed, the robots deactivate.

Cimorea Task Force
This past weekend we took on the Imperious (Cimerora )Task Force. If you have done it beofore, you know it is not that easy, although it is FULL of fun!
In the many times I have done the TF as a hero and a villain, I have learned an easy way to take down the Arch-Villains in the second to last mission in the TF.
Requiem, the 5th Column leader and Romulus, the Cimerora Traitor leader stand on the same platform at the end of the mission. I fly to the ledge of that platform and teleport the team to me. Then we sniper one AV kill him, then sniper the other.

Valkyrie Hero Battle
With my villain, a dominator and the team I usually play with, a blood widow, two corruptors and a brute, we took down Valkyrie the other night.
She is tough! She is not as tough as Positron although you have to defeat her twice! She rezzes herself after the first defeat.

Defeating Positron (COV)
I was on a family team the other day and we took Positron down! We were a team of level 41 villains. We had a Brute, a Dominator (me), 2 corruptors, and the arch type, the name is eluding me right now…Blood Widow? Not sure.
Anyway, Positron is not easy to take down. Make sure you take down all of his entourage FIRST! Otherwise they will pick at you and you are almost certain the group will contain at least one or two Wardens.

COT: Orestos
We gave a beatdown to Orestos the other day in a Police Scanner mission on our way to get the bank mission in Kings Row.
I dislike the cave missions although with a toon that is slightly shorter than five feet it made navigating easier.

New Toon!
I made a new toon last night with some friends. I made a Will Power/War Mace Tanker on Justice. In the video below you can see the first baddies I took down. 2 unsuspecting Hellions!

Don’t let the sites simple design fool you. They have GREAT detailed maps for anything you are looking for, Villians or Heroes.

This SF starts off in Sharkhead then makes you travel around alot during the different missions. The contact is Strike Force Leader Renault and he is located next to the Siren’s Call transport. This Strike Force runs from level 25-30 and you need a minimum team of 4.
1. Find and assist Barracuda in Sharkhead Isle
You need to find and lead Barracuda to the portal. There are Longbow on this underground cave map. Barracuda is a Coralax Elite Boss hostage that helps you once you rescue her.
2. Cause distraction for Barracuda in Nerva Archipelago
You need to defeat 10 Longbow. Sounds easy although we did it with a team of 4 at level 26 and it is no small feat to complete on that island in Agincourt zone which is where you need to defeat the Longbow for it to count.
3. Find info on coral key in Sharkhead Isle
You need to interrogate Tellus Lorekeeper. He will be a boss in this mission. And he comes in one of the ambushes.
4. Steal coral key from Fort Cerebus in Mercy Island
Here you need to steal coral key and defeat ambushers to escape. You will face Arachnos and Coralax.
5. Interrogate Longbow on Nerva in Nerva Archipelago
Defeat 10 Longbow in the Agincourt zone
6. Find Longbow leader on Nerva in Nerva Archipelago
Defeat 10 more Longbow in the Agincourt zone
7. Defeat Shockstorm in Nerva Archipelago
You need to defeat Shockstorm. Simple, right?
8. Speak with Kalinda in Mercy Island
And you can’t call her, you need to go to her.
9. Steal death rattle in Mercy Island
Defeat Gharbu and minions. Gharbu is a Banished Pantheon Totem in this outdoor graveyard map. We found him to the left and below the main structure in the northeast corner of the map.
10. Deliver death rattle to Kalinda in Mercy Island
Same thing, you need to go to her.
11. Retrieve Weapons in Sharkhead Isle
You need to search 5 crates and defeat all ambushers. Barracuda who is now an Archvillain will be in the final ambush.
12. Steal Eye of the Leviathan in Sharkhead Isle
This was a tough mission for us. In the final room you have to defeat Calystix an Archvillian who is surrounded by a bunch of Coralax. Here is the catch, as soon as you defeat him, the Eye of Leviathan wakes up and can one-shot(psychic damage) your weaker defenders, controllers and blasters. And while you have that to worry about, once the eye wakes there are constant ambushes of Coralax. Have your brute or stalker taunt the eye constantly along with as many coralx as possible. Your damage dealers should do nothing but attack the eye until it is done. Then worry about the Coralax.
This is a slightly longer Strike Force with 7 door missions and 5 delivery/street hunt missions. We did it with five teammates although we definitely had a hard time. The final room and the double AV’s can cause a smaller team several problems. This Strike Force is definitely worthy of giving a try. You hardly ever get missions with Coralax and the final mish certainly is unique.
Level 24 Respec Strike Force
This is for City of Villains. It is a breakdown of the level 24 City of Villains Strike Force.
Go to Nerva Archipelago and look along the coast in the southeastern part of the map for a big Circle of Thorns Daemon Lord named Sparcetriel.
24 Respec Strike Force
The leader of the team talks to the Sparcetriel to get the mission.
There will be 3 missions to complete, the first 2 of which will be quite easy compared to the last one.
The first mission is a “Defeat 25 CoT”(Circle of Thorns) street mission
The 2nd mission which is “Defeat Heroes”. The ultimate goal of this mission is to defeat 3 Elite Bosses, one each from Longbow, Wyvern, and Legacy Chain.
The last mission which is to “Defeat the Thorn Tree”.
Destroy all of the CoT that will be encountered within, and make your way to the final room with the Thorn Tree.
When you are in the final room make sure you DO NOT go near the center of the tree, or stay in sight of the heart of the tree (glowing). The tree is an Arch-Villain that shoots poisonous thorns and thorn patches that can kill you in one shot or close to it.
Before beginning the task of destroying all the vines, proceed around the room killing all of the CoT that will appear.
Once the CoT are all defeated, make your way around the room destroying the vines.
The healers/buffers should do their best to stay out of line of sight of the tree while still healing/buffing the others.
Once the vines have been defeated, everyone attack the center of the tree (the AV part) and begin taking down its lifeforce.
If vines begin to reappear, send a brute or stalker out to defeat them while everyone else works on the AV.
When the AV is about halfway defeated or under, an ambush of CoT will spawn. The brute or stalker that is tackling the vines should go tackle the CoT while the healers/buffers keep an eye on them and everyone else continues to beat on the AV.
Eventually the Thorn Tree/AV will be destroyed and a dialog appears asking what you want for reward. Click on Respec and you will be granted one to be used later.
Tips & Warnings
* This mission is made alot easier if you bring along a Thermal and Kinetics Corruptor.
* If possible bring at least 2 Brutes, the more the merrier.
* Everyone needs to stick together in order to help each other, otherwise things could go horribly wrong.
* Before you use your respec, plan it out well, as to earn another you will have to participate in the 2nd respec trial as you can not earn another one through the 1st.
